On Friday 19 October 2018, Els De Busser will participate in the panel "Surveillance, Privacy & Human Rights: The Outlook for 2019" during the International Law Weekend in New York.

Other panelists are Brian Egan, Partner at Steptoe & Johnson, Margaret Hu, Associate Professor at Washington & Lee University School of Law, Patrick Toomey, Staff Attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union and Becky Richards, Director of Civil Liberties at the National Security Agency. The panel is moderated by Peter Margulies, Professor of Law at Roger Williams University School of Law.

The International Law Weekend 2018 is sponsored and organized by the American Branch of the International Law Association (ABILA) and the International Law Students Association (ILSA).
