Yuliya Miadzvetskaya is a researcher at the Chair of Law and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Tübingen and a research fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the US. Prior to this she worked at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, the College of Europe, and the legal service of the European Parliament. Yuliya holds an LL.M in European Law from the College of Europe.
Her research interests lay at the intersection of EU (cyber)security, sanctions, and data governance. She also regularly writes on Belarus where she originally comes from. During her fellowship she will conduct research on the EU legal framework that defines how the EU and/or Member States respond to cyber threats.
