Henrique Ribeiro da Rocha is a Ph.D. Student in Military Sciences at The Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College(ECEME). In his thesis project, he seeks to understand what characterizes a State as a middle cyber power instead of small or great cyber power by analyzing the military aspect of cyber power (offensive, defensive and resilience capabilities). Previous to his Ph.D. studies, Henrique holds aMaster of Science in Military Sciences also at ECEME and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations at The Federal University of Santa Catarina(UFSC).

Currently, Henrique works as a Researcher at the Cyber Power Lab(LPCiber) and at the Governance, Management and Public Policy Lab on National Defense (LabGGPP), where he conducts research on the Security Governance of Cyberspace (especially that of Brazil); the Development of Public Policy for Cyber Security and Cyber Defense and on Cyber Power.
