Jack Kenny

Research Fellow in International Law at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law  and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Jack is a Research Fellow in International Law at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He undertook his DPhil in public international law at the University of Oxford. His thesis, The principle of sovereignty and state cyber operations, was supervised by Professor Catherine Redgwell and Dr. Efthymios Papastavridis and supported by UKRI funding. Jack has received advanced technical training as part of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security at the University of Oxford, recognised by GCHQ as an Academic Centre of excellence in Cyber Security Research. He holds an LL.B degree in Law with European Study and an LL.M degree in International and European Law. Jack previously held research positions at the University of Bonn, Chatham House, BIICL, and the Amsterdam Centre for International Law. He has worked on cases involving issues of international and EU law.
