Arindrajit Basu is presently a PHD Candidate at Leiden University in the Netherlands where his research focuses on emerging powers and the global governance of cyberspace. He also works as a Research Consultant on Digitalization and Human Rights with the United Nations Development Program.(UNDP)
Previously, he was Research Lead at the Centre for Internet&Society (India) where he led research on India's cyber diplomacy and data governance strategy. He also holds an affiliation with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (Washington DC) as a member of its Digital Democracy Network.
He is a lawyer by training holding a LLM in Public International Law from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. LLB (Hons) from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
