Talk: How do state-sponsored espionage operations impact NGOs?

Intelligence gathering is generally considered an acceptable part of international relations, despite the outcry over some cyber espionage campaigns. The impact of these campaigns – for the perpetrator and the victim – is almost always secret. But when the target organisations are NGOs and human rights campaigners, the intentions of the attackers is much more observable. This talk brings some of those stories to light.
