Monica Kaminska is Assistant Professor of International Security and Technology at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs at Leiden University. She is a researcher in The Hague Program on International Cyber Security. Her work examines international cyber conflict, in particular offensive cyber operations.
Previously, Monica was a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Technology and Global Affairs at the University of Oxford, where she coordinated the work of the Cyber Studies Programme. Outside of her academic work, Monica has a strong interest in malware research and cyber threat intelligence. She is a trustee and board member of the European Cyber Conflict Research Initiative and has served as an expert contributor for Oxford Analytica.
Monica holds a DPhil (PhD) in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford, an MPhil in Geographical Research from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She tweets at @monica_kaminska.
